Automated Case Information

A computerized system used by courts to manage case information and automate court processes. ACI systems allow court staff and judges to access case information, track case progress, and manage court schedules electronically, rather than using paper-based systems.

USCIS Application Processing Times

A website provides an online tool called “Check Processing Times” that allows individuals to check the estimated processing times for specific types of applications. The processing times are updated regularly and can be helpful for individuals who are planning to apply for immigration benefits or who are waiting for a decision on their pending applications. It’s important to note that the processing times provided are only estimates and USCIS processing times can vary depending on the specific circumstances of each case.

USCIS Case Status Updates

When an individual submits an immigration application or petition to USCIS, they will receive a receipt notice with a unique receipt number. This number can be used to track the status of their case through the USCIS website or by contacting USCIS. USCIS case status updates can include information on whether the application has been received, if it is being processed, if any additional evidence or information is needed, and if a decision has been made.

US DOS VISA Bulletin

A monthly publication released by the U.S. Department of State that provides information on the availability of immigrant visas (also known as green cards) for foreign nationals seeking to become permanent residents of the United States.

The bulletin provides important updates on visa availability based on the country of origin and the type of visa category for which the applicant is eligible. It lists the priority dates for each visa category, which are the dates when the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) can begin processing the applications for those visas.

Immigration Case Status Hotline

The Immigration Case Status Hotline is a telephone service provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) that allows applicants and their representatives to check the status of their pending immigration applications.

Detainee Locator

The tool provides information on the individual’s name, location, and the facility where they are being held, as well as their case status and any available contact information for their deportation officer.

The Detainee Locator is designed to help friends, family members, and legal representatives locate individuals who have been detained by ICE, and to provide information on their whereabouts and status. However, the information provided by the tool may not be up-to-date or complete, and users may need to contact ICE directly for more detailed information.

COUNTY LOCATORS

A county locator is a tool or service that helps individuals identify the county associated with a particular location or address. It can be useful for a variety of purposes, such as verifying voting districts, determining tax rates, and finding local government resources. County locators may be available through government websites, online mapping services, or specialized tools provided by private companies. They typically rely on geocoding technology, which uses geographic coordinates or street addresses to pinpoint a location and associate it with the corresponding county.
