I am trying to raise money for my transfemale client.
After 2 months in Adelanto, she lost her apartment and job.
She is living with family. Her case was rushed through the Santa Ana immigration court and the judge pretermitted her application. He did not allow her to get a psychological evaluation or any other evidence to support her claim. She now needs to appeal, before July 25, 2026, at the Board of Immigration Appeals. This costs $1,030. If she does not she can be taken out by ICE. Please help me raise money for her legal costs.

Our client's request for additional time to prepare her asylum case was denied, despite the fact that her hearing had been unexpectedly accelerated and despite newly identified mental health concerns requiring further evaluation. The immigration judge ordered the case to proceed, and ultimately denied her application.
Our fight is not over.
She has the right to appeal that decision to the Board of Immigration Appeals. An appeal gives a higher court the opportunity to review whether the law was properly applied and whether she received a full and fair opportunity to present her case.
Like many immigrants navigating the legal system, she has already exhausted nearly all of her financial resources. She lost her job and her housing after spending months in immigration detention, and she is still working to rebuild her life.
We will be filing her appeal in the coming week to ensure she is not further harassed or threatened by ICE or her supervision officer and we need your help if you are able to.
